On January 15, the National Startup Support Center (NSSC), in coordination with the Institute of International Economics and Law, Viet Hoi Nhap Company, and partner organizations, officially launched the “Vietnam ESG Allocate 2026– Vietnam ESG Accolade 2026” program.
At the opening ceremony, Dr. Pham Hong Quat, Director General of the National Innovation Center (NIC), Ministry of Science and Technology, emphasized that the world is entering a profound transformation phase in which sustainable development, green transition, and digital transformation are no longer optional but imperative requirements for every economy, nation, and enterprise. In this context, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) has emerged as a new development benchmark, reflecting enterprises’ long-term competitiveness, risk resilience, and responsibility toward society and future generations.

In Vietnam, this orientation has been firmly institutionalized through the Green Growth Strategy, the Net Zero commitment by 2050, and notably Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, which identifies science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation as strategic breakthrough drivers for rapid and sustainable national development in the new era.
Against this backdrop, the event was organized to create a multi-dimensional dialogue platform, bringing together policymakers, scientists, experts, international organizations, and the business community to exchange insights on emerging ESG and green transition trends in the digital era, policy frameworks, financial instruments, enterprise support mechanisms, as well as practical models and experiences in emissions management, ESG reporting, and innovation.
During the event, speakers discussed key themes including opportunities for innovation collaboration, ESG adoption, and the dual green–digital transformation in Vietnam; green finance and policy support for ESG implementation; and proposals for new-generation technology incubator models.

A major highlight of the program was the official launch of the Vietnam ESG Allocate 2026.
Positioned as a strategic initiative and an “ESG launchpad” for Vietnamese enterprises, the Awards aim not only to recognize excellence but also to train, connect, and accompany businesses in progressively integrating ESG standards in line with international benchmarks, toward sustainable and inclusive growth.
The Awards seek to foster a business environment that encourages enterprises to embed ESG standards into corporate strategies, equip Vietnamese companies with in-depth knowledge on ESG and sustainable business, honor exemplary ESG implementation models to facilitate knowledge sharing, and connect supply and demand by creating collaboration opportunities between green solution providers and enterprises in need.

The program targets enterprises and organizations currently implementing ESG and sustainable business models; those oriented toward green transition; and innovative startups with sustainability-driven business visions.
The Organizing Committee expects the Vietnam ESG Allocate 2026 to attract broad participation from the business community, ranging from innovative startups and SMEs to large corporations.
“Through this program, effective ESG models, initiatives, and practices will be identified, scaled up, and connected with the innovation ecosystem, green finance, and domestic and international strategic partners-thereby accelerating ESG transformation, enhancing competitiveness, and promoting sustainable development of Vietnamese enterprises in the new era,” Dr. Pham Hong Quat emphasized.
